Foothold is live

Foothold is now live on itch.io.

It is a short turn-based strategy game about taking ground, building income, and finding a way through an enemy position before the match ends. Claim empty tiles, develop resource nodes, upgrade your economy, and siege enemy territory when the moment is right.

The launch version includes three maps. The River turns its bridges into key choke points. Shoreline shifts with the tide. Volcano adds a real-time eruption timer and incoming meteor strikes.

The game is free to play. No ads, no timers, no purchases.

A Forest level is already in progress and planned for a near-future update.
